TANKLESS WATER HEATER ADVANTAGES
An Endless Supply of Hot Water
Imagine endless hot water, no matter how many of your kids have been in the shower already.
The on demand tankless unit is a water heating system that is capable of providing an endless supply of hot water to multiple locations in your home.
With this system, there is no need for a holding tank to keep gallons of water hot, increasing energy efficiency.

Save Money on your Energy Bill
As soon as water sits in a tank, it begins to lose heat and that means a traditional water heater is continually turning on and off to keep water warm and ready to go. With tankless, because water is heated quickly and only when it’s needed, it’s more energy-efficient.
With an energy factor of up to 0.99, in our units 99% of the fuel is being used to heat the water and only 1% is wasted.
Save Space
You may not think that saving space is a big deal, but a water tank actually takes up about 9-12 feet in your basement.
A tankless water heater is slim, sleek, and is mounted on your wall. It takes minimal space, and gives you back your basement, all while delivering wonderfully warm water at a moment’s notice.

TANKLESS WATER HEATERS vs HOT WATER TANKS
Tankless Water Heaters |
Hot Water Tanks |
|
---|---|---|
Energy Efficiency |
Only starts heating water when you turn on the tap. Condensing models use heat from the exhaust to preheat the incoming cold water. |
Tanks use energy to maintain a tank full of hot water while you’re asleep, away at work, etc. |
Water Supply |
On demand, endless supply. |
Once the tank is used up, you get cold water. |
Space Usage |
Wall mounted units are out of the way. |
Even the smallest tanks require at least 9 square feet of floor space, including clearance for servicing and safety. |
Lifespan |
Typically 20 – 25 years. |
Typically 8 – 12 years. |
Basement Flooding Danger |
Almost none – tankless models shut off the water supply if there’s a problem. |
When they reach the end of their life, tanks are known to corrode through the tank bottom, creating a flood. |
Rebate Eligibility |
Tankless models frequently qualify for government and other rebates. |
None. |

Installation of: New High Efficiency Furnace, Hot Water Tank and Complete AC System
Over the past few years I have used Adrian and his crew from PEACE OF MIND PLUMBING for many upgrades and general maintenance on my home. Over the 4 years I’m known Adrian they have been fantastic in both service and general plumbing around my house. To name a few repairs and upgrades, they installed a new high efficiency furnace, hot water tank and complete AC system as well as replaced our water service when it had started to leak. Rather than cutting and breaking up the driveway they found an alternate route with minimal cutting of the asphalt and used a more stable pipe with longer life. They were professional, thorough and there were no surprises when I received my bill.Personable guys with an attention to detail, I would not hesitate to recommend them (And already have!) for any future plumbing and HVAC needs.

Pre-Purchase Plumbing Inspection & Service
I had PEACE OF MIND PLUMBING out to inspect a townhome we were purchasing on the recommendation of or Remax agent. Two service technicians arrived a little early which was ok as we were waiting on access. I questioned why the need 2 people and was told that each had their own specialty in service and the furnace AC was free and able to come by and help no charge. We ended up purchasing and had them in for the upgrades that we wanted to have done which included 14 fixtures (toilets, sinks, furnace and new taps). They did a great job, were clean and organised and also helped out with getting better water pressure for the whole place.Would recommend again and have already to our strata.

Plumbing for New Sink Installation
Needed to get a new sink plumbed in the basement suite of my house. They worked on my time schedule, were very professional and couldn’t be happier with the end result and how it looks. Thank you Adrian and crew. Highly recommended.Adam Bach, Vancouver – Facebook review

Emergency Service: Burst Pipe
Adrian came to help as soon as he can when the hot water pipe bursted inside the wall. He was able to pinpoint the source of the leak and give me practical suggestions. He opened up the wall and was able to clean out the mold. He kept the cost down while doing a great job putting everything back together. I can’t tell where he fixed after he’s done. Thank you!Kacina Cheng, Surrey – Facebook review
